๐Ÿ‘‹ Hi, Iโ€™m Andreas.

I'm an experienced IoT product manager living in Albuquerque, New Mexico โ˜€๏ธ.

As a product lead at HID Global, my team builds engaging and valuable software that uses real-time IoT data to help hospitals streamline operations and improve patient care. Prior to HID Global, I worked as the first product manager at Vizzia Technologies, where I contributed to a 5x growth in recurring revenue from our flagship asset management software. In 2024, Vizzia was acquired by HID Global for our outstanding software, growth momentum and expertise.

As a product professional, I bring a structured, creative and entrepreneurial approach to solutions. With a background in architecture and design, I bring a keen eye towards design, performance and accessibility.

When possible, I share my perspectives on IoT and technology on my Substack: Wired and Inspired.

Current role: Product Lead (2022-present) ****As a senior product lead, my team builds enterprise software that allows hospitals to work more efficiently using real-time location data about their equipment, patients, and staff. To enable this, we select and deploy appropriate IoT technologies that match our customerโ€™s most important needs. Our flagship software enables hospital staff at all levels to answer questions about how their workflow and care delivery can be improved โ€” benefitting patients, staff, and the bottom line.

Prior role: Product Manager (2019 - 2022, Remote) ****Before being my current role, I was the first Product Manager at Vizzia. I led the research, design, and implementation of fundamental improvements to core applications that accounted for 98% of SaaS revenue.

I began by leading a full refresh of the applicationโ€™s UI, while also designing an agile development framework. I continued by restructuring the applicationโ€™s mapping, enabling transparency and efficiency between field operations and application maps. I embedded analytic dashboards into the application, satisfying customer needs for ROI metrics and integrating the companyโ€™s first support desk, knowledge base and behavioral analytics solutions.
